Olympiad Victor
Roshan.Y.Singh of Grade - 3 C has delivered outstanding performance in various Olympiads in level - 1. He was presented with certificate of merit for having excelled in the Eduheal Foundation's Interactive Olympiads 2013 Mathematics with International Rank - 40. He has also received credit for English and Mathematics in International Assessments for Indian Schools (IAIS) for having scored in top 20 percent of class 3 participants in the region. He has also secured ranks and medals in the various Olympiads in level - 1.

Sharom William’s tennis court escapades
Sharon William of grade 4 secured 2nd place in Under-14 Girls Singles category of AITA-Junior Level Tennis Tournament organized by TTPPA-Head-Singaram Pillai held at Singaranm Pillai Tennis Centre in Villivakkam, Chennai on 15 February 2014. The rising tennis star also secured a place in the quarter finals in Under-14 Girls Doubles on the second day of the Junior Level Tennis Tournament on 16 February 2014.

Performers par excellence
Students of grade 4, 6 and 7 have displayed exceptional sporting skill in tennis tournaments and swimming events held in the city and Hyderabad recently. Sharon William of grade 4 and Balagayathri Snigdha of grade 6 are the new rising tennis stars, whereas Shri Hari Natraj of grade 7 (IGCSE) is the emerging prodigal swimmer of JHS.

Science Adda schedule
JHS has organized a Science Adda session on importance of water for students of grade 3 on 02 January 2014. The session will explain few essential aspects of water that are included in the academic curriculum. The session is aimed at expanding the knowledge base while creating awareness about the properties and essentials of water in children.

A badminton star in the making
Ramya C.V of Grade 8 has performed extremely well at Bowring Five Star State Ranking Badminton Tournament organised by SBI recently. Ramya with her excellent sporting performance has reached the semi-finals of the Badminton Tournament. If she continues her good performance she will definitely bring home the winner’s trophy.

Sai Pranav Ponaka of grade 9 was declared winner in the Boys Under-14 Singles tennis tournament organized by S.R. Khan Memorial Championship Series. The series took place from 23 November to 27 November 2013 in J.P. Nagar Bangalore.

Ramya.C.V of grade 8 won the quarter finals and qualified for the semi finals in the Under 14 Girls singles category, at the 10 Ramesh Padukone – Mehul Sirur Memorial Inter School Badminton Tournament 2013. The event was held from 23 to 28 November 2013 in Canara Union.

JHS was a spectrum of Kannadiga pride and culture on 8 and 9 November 2013. The flavours of Kannada traditions were displayed in all its fame and glory by the students of JHS. Yakshagana performances that displayed true heritage of Karnataka to patriotic songs praising the mother land, the day was true celebration of being Kannadigas.

Young Achiever
Tiny tot Anuka Varshini Bhure of Grade 1, section A made JHS proud earlier this month. She actively participated in "Walkathon" organized on "World Heart Day" in Bangalore. The little girl shared the track with renowned Cardiac Surgeon, Dr. Devi Shetty and Additional Commissioner Mr. Kamal Pant.

JHS slips tennis ticket into its kitty of achievements
The Jain Heritage School senior and junior boys swooped victory with their tennis rackets at JASE Cup Invitational Inter – School sports festival on Wednesday. While the seniors tackled the International School Bangalore, the juniors had a faceoff with JIRS. Both of them tailed a 2- 0 victory. Girl power popped in another victory pill for JHS in their tennis tussle against International School Bangalore. JHS basks in its enhanced glory with its cubic success at the JASE cup.

JHS Triumphs in U - 16 KSCA
JHS completely conquered the cricket field today in the U -16 KSCA Cup first division inter school tournament in Bangalore. JHS managed to a haul in clean sweep victory in their match against Holy Saint English School with a whooping 10 wicket victory. The star stunner of the show was Dinesh Poonia, grade 10 of JHS for knocking down 11 wickets. Now that’s a sweet victory worth celebration.

6th Mini Olympics
JHS was turned into an arena of sports extravaganza on 29th august. Children unraveled their sporting spirit as JHS hosted its 6th Mini Olympics, 29th August, 2013. The Chief Guest for the day was International Athlete, Sprinter, Mr. Arjun Devaiah. Day two of the Mini Olympics was held on 30th August 2013. The Chief Guest for the day was International cricketer Mr. Vijay Bharadwaj. The Third day of the JHS 6th Mini Olympics was held on 31st August 2013. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr.Sandeep Michael (Former Indian Hockey Player).

Visit to JP Park
Children of Fundamentals were taken on a fun trip to visit the JP Park .They were overjoyed with the surroundings & had fun playing in the fun park with swing, slide, jungle gym, see-saw, rolly-polly & many more games. They were also very excited to see variety of trees, plants & models of animals & birds.

Blue Day - Earth Day
Children came in Blue attire & were involved in lot of activities. The special assembly included talk on Planet Earth, rhymes & songs. As a part of Eco-awareness programme children were educated on "Reduce, Reuse & Recycle" to save the "Planet Earth".

Clay Competition
"Creative Moulds" was held for the fundamentals, where children attempted extremely well and showcased their creativity & skills through clay moulding.

Good Touch Bad Touch
The session was conducted by Ms. Krishna Mukundan & Ms. Manisha Mehta on 30 July 2013 for all the three sections of Advance Fundamentals.
